Hi my name is Amy,  and I am the proud owner of Autism Care and Support Services, ACASS.

For the past 14 years I have studied and worked within the Early Childhood Sector, with children aged 0 to 6 years of age. During this time my passion to care for and help others has grown, in particular with young children who have additional needs. Such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication delays, both verbal and non-verbal, behavioural issues and intellectual disabilities.

This passion has continued to grow through my own personal journey, I have two beautiful boys who are on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout this journey my boys have shown me what strength, determination and their individual superpowers are and I couldn’t be more proud.

Having this experience has allowed me to further understand some of the day to day struggles many families and young people with disabilities face and has led me to share my knowledge and support services with others on their own journeys.

This is where ACASS emerged. With a lot of hard work, determination, empathy and support I am proud of what we have achieved as a team and look forward to supporting more families and individuals achieve their goals.

I hold a certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Services, Certificate III in Individual Support with Victoria University and a Certificate IV in Disability. I also have my first aid certificate and Mental Health First Aid Certificate, police check, NDIS Screening check, WWCC, certificate of completion “Quality, Safety and You” NDIS worker orientation module and have previously volunteered in both mainstream and specialist school settings. I am always attending professional development sessions to expand my knowledge within the sector.
